I looked at how people find you online today. Here is what I found, what it means for you, and what we do about each one.
Your website is one long page built in Canva. To book your free consultation, people need to call or email you. There is no booking button.
Someone reading your site late at night, ready to start, has to wait for a reply before they can book, and some may not follow through.
Your new site has a booking button on each of your three packages, linked to your Calendly, so people can book a free consultation straight away. This is part of the website work now.
Your website comes up first on Google when someone searches “Full Circle Coaching Christchurch”. When we searched “health coach Christchurch”, you were not on the first page. Your page title and description on Google do not mention Christchurch.
People who already know your name can find you. People looking for a coach in Christchurch who have not heard of you yet are unlikely to.
Your new site tells Google what you do and that you coach in Christchurch and online, on every page. In the new year, ads can put you in front of people who are searching for a coach.
We could not find a Google Business Profile for Full Circle Coaching. That is the listing that shows a business on Google Maps with its star reviews. Other health coaches and trainers in Christchurch show their reviews there. Your website has three lovely client stories, and your Facebook page has one review.
Your clients already say great things about you, but someone searching on Google cannot see them yet.
Your client stories go on your new site where people will see them. In the new year, we can look at setting up your free Google profile with you and asking your happy clients to leave a review there.
Google’s speed test scored your site between 42 and 55 out of 100 on a phone, across two tests today. On the slower phone connection Google tests with, the first words took about 14 seconds to appear.
Many people look you up on their phone. When a page is slow, a lot of them leave before it finishes loading.
Your new site is built to load quickly on phones, and we test it on a phone before it goes live. This is part of the website work now.
The Instagram link on your website goes to an account that no longer opens. Your active account, @dianastolworthy, and your Facebook page both had a post on 9 October, and there were several more on Instagram in September.
People who tap the Instagram link on your site land on an empty page. The good news is that you are posting, so people can see you are active.
Your new site links to the accounts you use now. In the new year, social media done for you ($249 + GST per month) keeps your pages going every week, so you never have to start again.
There is a second website for you on fitweb.io, and some prices there are different. For example, personal training is “From $50” there and from $40 on your main site.
People who find both may not be sure which prices are current, or which site to book from.
Your new site has your three packages and prices in one place. Once it is live, we help you link your other pages and profiles to it, so everything leads to the same place.
The Gallery Gym’s “Lifestyle Coaching in Christchurch” page still calls you their in-house coach and asks readers to book a consultation with you. It shows up on Google when people search your business name.
Some people may contact the gym looking for you, or think you still train there.
You said you would ask the gym to take it down, and if they would rather keep it, you could ask them to link to your new website instead. Your new site says you train from a city location, so anyone who finds you gets the right details.
